Fundraising Gala Dinner

The Greater Toronto Kurdish House and the Kurdish National Congress of North America (KNC- NA), together hold a Fundraising Gala Dinner to solicit contributions for the legal processing fees to McCallion & Associates, a law firm based in New York. The McCallion & Associates is in the process of filing lawsuits before the International Human Rights Court on behalf the KNC-NA, and the individual victims and family members who survived Saddam’s chemical weapons attacks on Halabja and other Kurdish cities and villages. KNC-NA has been working diligently in the past years to make sure that the justice is served for the victims of the infamous Anfal operations including Halabja. McCallion & Associates will fight to receive compensations for the victims of genocide, and to send a strong message to the chemical companies which supplied Saddam’s tyrannical regime with chemical weapons during the period from 1982 to 1988.
